Metrics on the Forerunner 965 when used simultaneously with the Edge 1040 on a stationary trainer.

If I do an outdoor activity on a bike, the forerunner 965 works correctly through move iq. But if I ride on a stationary trainer, move iq does not detect anything. It measures stress during the ride. I also tried to turn on the activity on the forerunner 965, which I did not save at the end. After that the stress metric measurement was fine. He was not measured during the activity and for some time after it. But again there was a problem with the regeneration time. Because by canceling the activity of the forerunner 965, the regeneration time is not calculated from the watch and also does not update from the edge 1040. So I am in a state where the stress metric is unusable or the regeneration time.

Does stress during stationary activity count towards training readiness metrics? If so, is there a solution?

  • Both of your devices support Unified Training Status. One of them should be your Primary Training Device, and one of them should be your Primwary Wearable. For best results, it should be the same device and it should be the 965 if you wear it most of the time.

When you bike, you would record the activity on both devices, but save it only on the PTD/PW one.

Before recording on 2 different devices, it is best to ensure they have been synched.
