Auto Pause option missing from App XC Classic Ski

I can't stand the auto pause feature on any activity. Especially XC Skiing.

Very little access to the watch with all the clothing layers XC Skiing so I did not know my activity was paused.

Missed about 10 km of recording after my stop for a quick snack.

Can Auto Pause option be added to XC Classic Ski app?

How about a global setting: Disable Auto Pause for ALL apps

Is it possible you hit the stop button by accident? I have the opposite issue I want auto pause for XC skate ski but this activity does not have the option for it. When I stop the clock keeps ticking. It looks like some activities allow auto pause and others do not. Makes no sense.

This doesn’t directly address your suggestion but have you considered purchasing a chest strap? My chest strap allows me to wear my watch over my jacket sleeve when I’m running and skiing in the colder months.

I created my own workaround. I copied the Hiking App to a new new "X-Country Ski"

The Hiking app has all the controls and data collection that I need so the copied app is meeting my needs.
