Any plans on making Training Load available for third party faces?

It looks like Training Load is currently only available in built-in watch faces.

This metric is one of the main reasons that I use a Garmin, and as a result I’m limited to using only stock faces (that are often missing other data points, such as a move bar).

Are there plans to make Training Load available to watch face developers?

  • Just puzzled. Why do you want to see training load 24/7? It's not like it changing very much throughout the day.

The move bar is something else. That one I want to see, but it is already very  hidden and in firmware 18.xx it's removed all together for reasons I really don't understand. The alert to move around a bit is about the most important health trigger a watch can give and it is already very poorly implemented by garmin and they managed to make it even worse.

  • When you write that Move bar is removed from 18.xx, what do you mean exactly (I've not downloaded 18.xx and don't intend to until is published as non-beta)? Is just the move bar for third party watch faces removed (none of the Garmin faces seem to support it), or also the move notifications? Have you reported this, since it's not mentioned anywhere in the Beta changelog?

  • I do monitor it throughout the day, to make sure I’ve done enough cardio to be improving. For instance, in the morning I can see how hard of a workout I should do. And then I do some regular biking during the day. And then I can see if I still want to add more cardio towards the end.

Don’t know why you find this puzzling, but I suppose different people use the various data points differently.
