Hello Garmin and all Garmin users,
I am writing to you because I owned a Forerunner 945 and recently bought a Forerunner 965 which I am happy with in many aspects, but I have just done my first interval session with it and I must say that I am very disappointed and really unsatisfied with it and the way its displayed intervals:
Firstly, the display is very difficult to read when running fast, it is a thin line, whereas on the 945 it was a large triangle, way easier to check
Secondly, the race intervals go from 5sec/km to 5sec/km, so I don't have anything precise... For example, this evening my training asked me to run between 4'06"/km and 4'10"/km for 1 minute, which I created as training in Garmin App, and on the watch screen I only had 4'15", 4'10", 4'05", ... which were noted... whereas I remember on the 945 the triangle moved and it was displayed the average pace of the interval at 1sec/ km near.
Finally, the latency time to indicate my correct running speed is veeeeery long, at the beginning I may have been at the right pace, but it indicated 4'30", then 4'25", etc... to arrive at the right speed displayed after 30/40 seconds, more than half of my interval, it is not possible to have these results to have some something reliable, which was the case on my F945... as a consequence of which I ran all my intervals too fast...
I point out that I ran outside, not in the forest or in a city with skyscrapers...
How can we correct these points?
Many thanks for your help
