ClimbPro add to HIKING

Why does the hiking activity not have the climbpro function? fr 945 has it. It makes no sense, this function is very important in hiking, please Garmin.

ClimbPro has been added in the 18.15 beta software release which is currently in a 20% phased rollout. If you do not wish to enroll in beta, feel free to wait until the live software version is released…

I read that it is a bug in the latest firmware on the fr 955. I suppose that on the 965 it will be the same

Has this been fixed? I'm interested in buying a 955 or 965 and this would be a dealbreaker for me.

I checked both 955 and 965 and not seeing in on the watch or on the connect app. It only shows 'auto climb'.

I remember using it before on 955 so looks like a bug with latest FW. However likely for a new watch you won't get latest firmware and therefore possibly you might still have the option. Or wait for FW fix.
