Beats Fit Pro

Every time I go to use my Beats Fit Pro, I have to pair it again. Does anybody know how to solve this?
  • I just bought them.. what do you mean with "pair them again"?  if I press play to music it will ask to connect them, but I won't consider that as repairing them again

Did you instead manage to control the volume? I can do it from my Android phone by selecting the option "press and hold" from the app, but when I pair them with the Garmin Forerunner 265 they will cycle through transparency and noise reduction modes (I'm using Amazon Music). They become useless to me.

  • I have no problems using my Beats Fit Pro. Only that it takes some time to connect...

  • I have an iPhone and I also have difficulties re-connecting the Beats Fit Pro with the Epix Gen 2. I am not quite sure what the best protocol is, but I observed it was easier when:

    - the BT of the iPhone is OFF or the phone is far enough that the earbuds cannot connect to it. This is true also for other devices that you might have paired to the earbuds. The watch needs to be the only paired device eligible.

    - tap/select "connect" on the watch when the earbuds are in the case, then take them out of the case.

    - some times, I have noticed that taking one earbud in and out of the ear during the connection seems to help.

A little bit of hocus pocus here, but I am able to connect them after 1-4 trials.

  • some developments..:

    • I re-paired them and now I can control the volume with the long press as set on the phone
    • when I need to listen to music the pair just fine.. I press play on the app from the watch (amazon music for me) and they search out for them and connect in a few seconds..
    • main problems still remain... they disconnect every 5 minutes.. pressing play on AM will reconnect them but it's pretty annoying..

I tried other earbuds and they work fine.. I will try then on another Garmin I have for comparison but I start getting confused, not sure if it is a problem with the watch or the buds..

For what it's worth, once connected, they stay perfectly connected on my Epix Gen 2.. I just wish they would be recognized faster, better when re-connecting
