My 965 counts the distance on the lifts when skiing.

Hello,

Coming from a Fenix 6, I didn't have this problem. When I get on a chairlift, the watch doesn't pause and continues to count the distance.

Have you experienced the same problem?

Can this problem be solved or is it a bug?

There is already a thread in this regard; no answer from the Garmin team so far...but it's an annoying bug I had since my previous FR 955 so I guess it's not an easy fix or the Garmin team simply don't…

They do! There's another thread with regard to this issue and Garmin Sierra said they'll release a new build with a fox to that

There is already a thread in this regard; no answer from the Garmin team so far...but it's an annoying bug I had since my previous FR 955 so I guess it's not an easy fix or the Garmin team simply don't care the ski community out there. This bug is second in my ranking, just next to the HR bug (that is unacceptable for a 649€ sport watch IMHO!)

Same problem for me... Reading the threads here, it does not look like Garmin cares about it :(
Did anyone find any workaround?
