Hi guys, I am a bit confused about Garmin training sessions.
(I apologize, I don't know corretct english terms and as I lern google isn't enough good translator for athletics).
I cone from FR35 and I got new FR965.
I set on calendar main race in september 2024, 10k, I did it last september but next year I would like to run a better pace.
I go on Garmin website, I select profile (10k), the pace, trainer, allowed days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), I send training program to my Forerunner.
Issues:
1) I find planned sessions also on other week days, is it my fault or some bug?
2) planned training sessions only on october and november, then nothing until test race on january. Is this ok? I feel it unusual due I asked for 5:45/km pace and I got mainly "hill" and "track" sessions, regardless desired pace.
3) if I need to delay planned sessions and I place two sessions on two following days, I get warning due it's not safe plan 2 sessions in 2 days.
4) I also find training sessions in "suggested daily training sessions for race on september 2024", much harder than the 10k training session on Garmin website, with only 1 idle day in a week
5) if my readness level says "too low" due to extra training, shouldn't be training session autimatically delayed?
