Does anyone else have problem with altimeter after updating Forerunner965 to software version 17.24 ?
After that update the altimeter metrics are wrong. For example, I'm just walking in the straight line and I get notified that I complete the stairs climbed, and that day I got notified that I completed it 5 times for just walking in a straight line. Before the update the stairs climbed functionality was fine.
Also, If I compare my walking activities in the similar walking path with my previous version 16.17 I see the total accession and total descent are very far off for example:
activity1:
total accession was 11 meters
total descent was 14 meters
Minimum altitude: -1.2 meters
Maximum altitude: 5.8 meters
activity2:
total accession was 11 meters
total descent was 17 meters
Minimum altitude: -1 meters
Maximum altitude: 7.6 meters
activity3:
total accession was 8 meters
total descent was 11 meters
Minimum altitude: 1.6 meters
Maximum altitude: 7.8 meters
activity4:
total accession was 24 meters
total descent was 22 meters
Minimum altitude: -1 meters
Maximum altitude: 8 meters
Activities with Software 17.24 with problem:
activity1:
total accession was 53 meters
total descent was 53 meters
Minimum altitude: -6.6 meters
Maximum altitude: 17.4 meters
activity2:
total accession was 87 meters
total descent was 88 meters
Minimum altitude: -6.8 meters
Maximum altitude: 17 meters
activity3:
total accession was 72 meters
total descent was 68 meters
Minimum altitude: -2 meters
Maximum altitude: 26 meters
