Forerunner 965 freeze after update to 17.24

Hi. My Forerunner 965 freezes randomly from the time I updated (black screen with no reaction to buttons or touch, sensor on the bottom side stays on). It never happened before and only way out of it is 15 seconds of holding the power button to turn the watch off and then back again. It happens multiple times a day. Does anybody have the same issue?

I had it yesterday when I was about to start a run. I already had the activity selected, but not yet started. Since I was about to start a trailrun on a very wet and muddy course I didn't have my stryd on my shoe.

My watch would start buzzing like crazy and then the screen turned black and didn't react on buttons. After about 10 or 20 seconds the screen returned to it's normal state. And then it started over again. For about 5 or 6 times.

Not exactly the same as you, but also a black screen and not responding to buttons.

I had a similar experience a few days ago in a trail race. I had both pace pro and a course loaded so I thought I had overwhelmed the device. The screen never turned black but it would buzz and pulse and would not respond to any button press. After 20 to 30 seconds it reverted to normal. Very strange behavior.

Stryd user too and it was similar to the buzz pulse that happens when it's trying to warn that the pod is detached.

Even pressing the power button for 15-20 sec doesnt help me at all. Total disaster.

I have the same issues on my Forerunner 955. It's started doing so right after the update so it's definitely a regression.

I have the same issue with my 955. notification gets sent through and then it freezes for 10-15 seconds black screen and then my watch face comes back up but clock is no longer moving and the screen freezes.

Same problem last week, Forerunner 965. As I notice after some notifications it stop responding to anything, only black screen. Pressing power button for 15 seconds - absolutely no signs of life. But then it turn on by power button without any problems. Now I do this power off-on cycle every 2-3 days.
