I have my Concept 2 Row ERG PM5 connected as a Smart Trainer so my Garmin 945 LTE logs all the PM5 data: Rower Pace, Power Watts, Distance (Meters), Distance per Stroke, Strokes, SPM (Avg & M ax), Lap…
Contact the tech support of any rower you like and ask them if it broadcasts the ANT+ Smart Trainer data.
I doubt you'll find any, most cheap rowers have simple lame electronics.

The Concept2 is $990 which is on the low end of modern rowers. It has no monthly fees. It a solid piece of equipment that will last forever. It comes with a 5 year warranty. It easily breaks in half so can take little space when not in use. Weighs 50 pounds for both halves so easy to move. For 20+ years it has been the best and in all fitness centers.

The 965 is a $600 watch so $1000 for a C2 RowERG does not seem high versus about $600 for a budget rower that will not be 1/2 as good.
