Suddenly getting phone notifications again after being off (newest firmware)

I always have phone notifications on my 965 turned off. No calls, texts, emails, I don’t want any of it on my watch. It looks like there may have been a firmware update recently? And even though notifications are turned off in the 965 watch menu, I’ve started getting notifications again on watch again. Is this a bug?

I'm on SW version 16.17 (but it happened since I bought it) and my 965 has the same problem, after every restart I have to go to settings->connectivity->phone->notifications and turn it on and off again…

I'm on SW version 16.17 (but it happened since I bought it) and my 965 has the same problem, after every restart I have to go to settings->connectivity->phone->notifications and turn it on and off again, otherwise it says that it is off but I keep receiving notifications. You are awesome. That worked! Turned “on” notifications (even though they were already off), then turned off again. And no more notifications. Thanks!
