I think this option could increase battery life.
First of all my device is the Forerunner 965.
for general use the display screen can be in 3 states:
- Off
- Minimal (Always On setting)
- Full
if I set always on I am toggling between states 2 and 3
if I set always on off I am toggling between 1 and 3
what I want is to toggle between 1 and 2 using gesture. then press screen or a button activate the full screen.
this means that for the majority of cases I just want to see the time. Display is off, raise arm minimal display comes on.
not saying this should be default but if I was able to configure this behaviour it would be great.
