My forerunner 965 unable to record distance and speed in bike indoor activity? May i know how can i fix it?

To answer need much more information. How are you trying to connect bike to watch? Speed sensor or smart trainer or something else?

You can’t just hop on an indoor bike and expect your watch to be able to record speed or distance. It would have no idea what gear you are and therefore it can’t record speed which if directly needed to…

I didn't connect bike to the watch because I thought it would record like a treadmill! Treadmill activity records my indoor runs without any connectors and shows speed and distance.

Is it possible to start a bike indoors activity and record speed and distance without any connectors? If yes, how i can do it?

Either directly find the trainer via ant+ or Bluetooth or put a sensor on the rear wheel and use that as a source

You need to connect it to either a group of sensors or a smart trainer.
