I'm running the latest firmware, 16.17 - Twice recently I've noticed that the screen will randomly go blank during a running workout and no amount of raising my wrist will make it appear. I know the device is still working because alerts such as pace/power out of bounds are displayed on the screen, but as soon as the alert finishes, the screen reverts to blank.
Display configuration (during activity): Always on display (on), Brightness (two-thirds), Gesture (on), Timeout 8 seconds
On both occasions, the screen returned to normal after a couple of minutes - quite frustrating.
Has anyone else seen this?
