Stress measurement on the Forerunner 965

I have a Forerunner 965 that I have been using for a month now.
I feel that there may be something wrong with the stress measuring because it often stops measuring the stress and there is a lot of blind spots during the day without measurement.

I know in the manual it says it won`t measure if you are active. But what is considered active, and how are other people experiencing this feature?

If I am completely still or relaxing, it most of the time will measure, but if I just walk around in the house or garden, or do simple tasks like washing the dishes it stops measuring.
