Changing strap

Hi all. I have just bought a Forerunner 965 and I want to change the strap. I have read the instructions but they're not really clear. Can anyone explain to me in simple terms how to do it without damaging the watch and let me know what tools I need and where to get them? (Based in UK)

The way I do it is to use a knife and slide it from the end of the band (against the plastic part) inwards.

There is a small "ledge" on the PIN and that will assist in pushing the pin in on its spring. If you move the band in a bit by hand (away from the plastic pieces)you can see the part I am referring to.

I have seen a tool one can buy but I have always done it this way with no issues, it's quite easy in reality

I use a knife where they show the pin tool, pull the knife towards the watch band from the side where the plastic holder is inwards

I'm not sure it's worth the investment. I asked the seller in the shop where I bought the watch if he knows how to do it and he safely removed the original band using a thin, pointy knife in a minute.

You need to do this only once per watch, since after it's removed you'll be able to switch bands without any tool, just buy the bands with the built-in pins (like the fenix6 band)
