Intermittent crashes- is it the beta FW, or does the 965 just do that?

I’m getting intermittent crashes. Maybe once every 10 workouts, when I go to save it, the watch restarts. It still syncs the workout to GArmin connect, but doesn’t save the activity on the watch. Yesterday it crashed when attached to Garmin Express when charging/syncing.

is this unique to the beta FW. (It happened with 16.12 and now with 16.17)?

Well, I've had my 965 for two months now, and I don't remember it ever crashing (I'm not using beta firmware). And I hardly ever reboot my watch.

On my old Fenix 5+, crashes were mostly related…

Well, I've had my 965 for two months now, and I don't remember it ever crashing (I'm not using beta firmware). And I hardly ever reboot my watch.

On my old Fenix 5+, crashes were mostly related to using 3rd party Connect IQ data fields and watch faces.

You mean- other than the many times that it reboots itself? No.

I do it once a day, when I take it off to charge during my shower: you might want to try it. :)
