Running earphones most compatible with Forerunner 965

Hi all,

Need to upgrade earphones from the Jabra Elite 65T. Keen to know if anyone has any experience on the best headphones that stay connected or don't experience connectivity issues with Garmins.

Sometimes the connection will drop out with the Jabra 65T or won't even connect to begin with which results in completely having to delete the headphones from the watch and re-add them in order to get it working.

Been intensely happy with my Aftershocks. (They have a few different models). Open ear- great for running multiuse paths with bikes. Not good for noisy environments tho.

No issues whatsoever with my Bose sport ear buds. Love them.

They are not actual running headphones, but I've used Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pros as my running headphones almost for a year, and I haven't had any problems with my Fenix 5+ and now 965.

The sport ear buds. They have nice bass.

Is the connectivity issue specifically a problem with the Garmin 965 and/or firmware, or most likely the earphones? I've had issues with Soundcore earphones connectivity and audio stuttering. I'm looking at open ear bluetooth options - for running. I found JVC Nearphones, but again this headphone model has appeared in a separate forum a few months ago with issues of connectivity to the 965.
