[BUG] Hiking activity, cannot add two data fields to map view FR965 4.19FW

Using FR965 with 4.19FW.

In the hiking activity i try to add two data fields to the map screen.

A map screen has to have been added to the hiking activity.

I go to Hike Settings -> Data Screens -> Edit Map Data Screen -> Layout.

Cycling trough the layouts there is no option to add two data fields, like for all other activities.

On IOS, in garmin connect, the two fields for the Map screen appear, but they cannot be set, it bugs out.

Happy to provide additional details if required.

    I just added two data fields to my map screen on the hiking activity with 965 running firmware 4.19. Did it on the watch itself. There does seem to be a bug in setting them in Garmin Connect (manifests a little differently on Android).

    Here's how it looks on my watch, paired with IOS Garmin Connect app.

    The data fields move from left to bottom, with no option to show two data fields.

    Are you sure that the layout where the HR is shown higher on the left isn't the two field layout with nothing set to the right field? What happens if you try to edit the fields?

    Hi Bitti, Many thanks this was it !

    It was showing an "invisible" second field, once i got to edit the data fields I was able to set something there.

    The "invisible" second field threw me off as it was not the case when setting the other activities. They were all giving some visual cue that a field was there.

    And the IOS Garmin Connect bug still stands - I was not able to set this second field from there.

    Glad you got it working! (The invisible field didn't fool me because I've used two fields on the map with my old Fenix 5+ already.)

    And there's a similar bug on Garmin Connect Mobile on Android, not possible to set the second field there.
