Forerunner 965 and Garmin HRM-Pro Plus is not reporting GC Time Balance

I have the Forerunner 965 and Garmin HRM-Pro Plus. It is not reporting ground contact time balance. It just shows a "--" in that data field. Is there something more I need to do to get GC Time Balance?

Make sure the HRM-Pro is connected to the watch over ANT+ and not BLE. Running dynamics do not work over BLE.
