Forerunner 965 and Garmin HRM-Pro Plus is not reporting GC Time Balance

I have the Forerunner 965 and Garmin HRM-Pro Plus. It is not reporting ground contact time balance. It just shows a "--" in that data field. Is there something more I need to do to get GC Time Balance?
