Now I don't mean to defend Garmin: their software sucks beyond what is acceptable, and they don't give a crap about their customers. However, THIS "WATCH" IS A COMPUTER, and all computers NEED TO BE REBOOTED at least a couple of times a week. If a computer stops working, it should be rebboted before thinking that there is something wrong.
Nonsense. Something causes it to go wrong & a reboot helps. Who reboots their phone/tablet/tv/bluray/satnav/router/server/literally any computer several times a week!
I figured out my problem is the Yokohama weather provider giving bad data. I changed my location to a place in the USA and the weather reported with no problem. Thank you for all the replies.
Its a systematic state problem on the weather service. You only should restart the subsystem or better detect why it doea not want to syncheonize, trying to remember when the *** did i synchronize last time successfully.
