Unable to upload run activity to garmin connect (via sync or via manual upload)

Hi,

I did a run yesterday using my 965, when I got home I synced my watch, but the activity did not appear on garmin connect. Tried a few times, with wifi and bluetooth, to no success. So I attached the watch to my computer, downloaded the .fit file, and tried uploading it manually in the garmin connect web-interface.

I get this error on the web interface:

So, I thought maybe the fit file is corrupt for some reason, but I tried to upload it directly to strava, and there it works and everything looks fine.

If somebody else could try to upload this file to their garmin connect, it would be interesting to know if it also fails, or if the failure has something to do with my other acitvities or my account.

simpel answer, strava repairs while reading our data and what else they do with your data

wil have a look at the provided fit file

please provide the file on a trustworthy platform, can not reach it from here

Please suggest a platform I could use? I think the tresorit platform is trustworthy and it works here :D. Do you have access to the https://supportforms.garmin.com/form/file-uploader/? I uploaded it there too now.

Last time I tried that the file size was too large, lets see :D. It worked, please see to the right of the tresorit link in my opening post.

at 4987.58m there was an error in the fit file

removed single data record

check this file [ solved ]

Thanks, this file uploads to garmin connect :). But the question is of course why was this problem written to the fit file in the first place? 4987.58m looks to be a few meters before I reached the top and pressed lap and sat down to recover. As far as I remember I never stopped the activity, just pressed lap.

looking at the hr chart it has a grey background during high heart rate

could this be a workout ? and 4987.58m the end of the workout or a preset hr limit ?

and not to forget the bugs in the software

It wasn't a structured work-out, but after the warm-up I did go to "navigation->courses" and selected the course, hit pace pro and generated and selected a 55min pace pro profile for the route.

It could be that the route ended at the point where the fit file is corrupted (and hence the pace pro profile also ended?)
