once you sign up, there are links to a lot of discounts from many companies, including typically 20% off on garmin devices. Garmin usually waits a few months before offering that level of discount off of their latest models. But- once they've been in the queue for a while, it's a nice discount.
There's no web site that I know of that lists when individual products come up on the blue cross discount page. I was in the market for a 965, and was just checking regularly... knowing it would be coming up soon. Garmin will turn the deals on and off as their product supply and sales volume permits- so, you just need to 1. qualify for the benefit, and 2. be vigilant.
These limited access channels are a way for retailers to increase sales without offering discounts to the full audience. So- you won't see discounted newly released garmin products at REI or Amazon until they open it up to the masses... such as on Cyber Monday or when the products are going to be shortly replaced.
Given what I pay for health insurance... it's a small benefit. But.... I'll take it. And good for Garmin too, as I probably wouldn't have upgraded from my perfectly fine Fenix 6 Pro without the discount.
