I do not have a Garmin yet, but they seem to do almost everything I want to do (plus a whole lot more that I haven’t even considered doing with them). One thing I’m curious about: if you start an activity, and have alerts set up, can you change them without having to end the activity. For example, say I am doing a 10 mile run, and I have alerts set up to run for 3 mins, and then walk for 1 min, but halfway through, I decide I want want to run for four mins and walk for one. Is it possible to change the alerts while maintaining progress towards the 10 mi, or do I have to end the run on the watch, change the alerts, and then start a new run?
