Pins for Nylon Band?

The pins that came with my nylon strap are too short. They sometimes come out while trail running or playing sports. I've tried the pins that come with the watch, but they're too thick to fit in the nylon watch band slot. Is there somewhere online I can buy pins that won't come out? I don't care if they're quick release or not if quick release isn't an option.

    If I’m being totally honest, to answer this I’d just be doing the Amazon search you could probably do yourself. If i couldn't find something I’d buy a cheap band with good reviews and take the pins out of it.

    The pins for some garmin watches are weird in that they're slightly wider diameter than most watch pins. It's tricky to get one thin and long enough to fit with a velcro band because the quick release metal band pins are shorter. There was a thread from 3 years ago on here that didn't seem to have any luck. Also another one from a year or two ago. I think I might just buy a big pin kit on amazon. I'm really starting to love the nylon band > rubber.

    How about this nylon band? You can use the existing pins as the band threads around them. An excellent band and highly recommended.

    Ah good find. I bet this one works vs mine because mine have hard plastic where the pins go in, but this just has no hard plastic and instead wraps around the pins themselves. I ordered some other size pins to see if they work with my current nylon bands. I have some weird colors like orange I like, so it'd be nice to use my current straps, but I'll order this if the pins don't work.

    Yeah, the whole pins discussion aside, it’s an excellent strap. I used it exclusively with my Fenix 6 for well over a year before I upgraded to the 965. The only reason I’m not using it there is I love tthe bright yellow band that came with it. But I’ll move over at some point.

    I got a mix of watch pins from amazon. It seems like the 23mm ones work. I'll update this if they fall off, but I think it'll be good.

    I'm so glad you said you used this, and it works well. Two of my other bands broke at the plastic clip that holds the pin. They both got hit by a volleyball just right. I have a third band in the same style, but ordered the one you linked. So easy to install, and I can use the original pins again. I wish I used this to start. The other pins were a huge pain to take out. Now I just need to look for a neon color of this same style band.
