Since version 4.19 I have the following heart rate problem every other run. The watch always sits snugly and correctly on the wrist.
Anyone have similar problems?

All,
I am locking this thread due to multiple abusive posts. We definitely understand the frustrations caused by this, but we will not tolerate attacks on other users or Garmin employees.
We are still working…
All,
Thank you so much for your patience as we've worked on improvements regarding erratic HR data (sudden drops/spikes) during for certain activity profiles. I deeply apologize for the understandable…
Yes. I’m also experiencing the same issue and would love to be contacted/included in the report in an effort to get this resolved.
Yes
Since firmware 16.x I have issues with spiking or excessive high heart rate. Up to 201 altough my max hr is 186.
Also the max hr auto detection is not working any longer. It comes up with values around…
Since a few days, I'm having this exact same issue. I'm including two graphs as an example.
In the first one, my HR shot up to 201 bpm. I had to stop the activity, take the watch off for a few…
Also here since the last update, the heart rate shoots up during the first 2 km while I walk quietly, I then stand still and see the heart rate rise to 185, which has now happened about 8 times in the last 10 running activities.
May I have permission to view your Connect account and reach out via email? I would love to add you to the investigation.
Garmin team, I, too, have had this issue on my past few runs, and it occurred today. Please add me to the investigation and offer my permission to view Connect account as this is significantly frustration. Thanks!
Here's a visual of the problem.
I've been experiencing this issue for a couple months now: forums.garmin.com/.../heart-rate-spikes
It's been particularly bad over the past few days.
Hi! I have issues with my hear rate since around mid October. I have several trainings from mid October with my readings suddenly changing at a similar pace/watt level. Compared it with a long run from 1 October - everything was still okay at that point.
I have the same issue with with my Polar H10 sensor AND the built in wrist sensor. I disconnected the H10 a few times as the weird readings started popping up but they just conitnued with the wrist recording.
And I saw a cardiologist yesterday to get a routine check - needless to say, everything is fine. Showed her a few of the readings and she said they are absolutely off.
Can provide pictures of the trainings in question (just don't know how to upload them here).
I've been experiencing the same problem on a Forerunner 965. Started a couple of weeks ago. HR measurements would be correct for about 20-30 minutes with a HR between 145-152 and then suddenly jumps to an (impossibly) high 185-190 and stays there until the end of the run...
This is simply not acceptable. All training and recovery data are just unusable
