Selecting custom map in activity reboots the watch

Are we allowed to install custom maps on FR 965? I've installed OFM (openfietsmap.nl) but when I go to Configure maps within my E-bike activity the watch freezes and then reboots. I can see the map is installed in the Settings, but can't select it for the specific activity

Please see Using Third-Party Maps With a Garmin Watch. We cannot guarantee that maps that are not provided by Garmin will be compatible.

Thanks. I managed to delete the *.img from the map through Windows to solve this issue (thanks to Garmin Product Support)

I can somehow not remove the map (basecamp map install). Nor by using Garmin Express. Anyone knows how to remove?

Hi Marselaar,

Please see Using Third-Party Maps With a Garmin Watch. We cannot guarantee that maps that are not provided by Garmin will be compatible.

If you see the map from Map Manager on the watch, you may be able to remove it. Try hold holding the middle left button, scrolling to Map > Map Manager > select the custom map. If you press the top right button, do you see the option to "Remove"? If the option is not available, please reach out to Garmin Product Support directly.
