Enhancement request: Control Sound should stay

The possibility to use the 965 (and others) to control the smartphones music is a great feature. That is start/stop, back/foreward and volume. I use this a lot during workout classes and gym group sessions for example.

However the 965 removes the selected control from the watch display after some timeout. Very annoying, to bring it up again I need to press a number of keys to bring it up again, in practice this is not possible during the wo.

I also have the Forerunner 745XT, this watch does not remore the sound controls. So I use this still for this purpose.

Could Garmin please make the control stay once selected.

Just longpress the down button. This is the standard shortcut to music control

Yes, i know and use it.
I want the selected control should stay once seleced, for example volume. As an instructor I use the volume control and adjust it depending of what at happening in the class (also other controls).

To bring back the volume I need to: keep-press down > press up > press start/stop > Up/Down for volume. I dont want to this sequence every time volume needs to be adjusted. If so I will spend too much time focusing on the watch durung the class.

As mentioned, the control stays on other watches like 735XT.

The control disappears after timeouts:
~10 s selected control (volyme etc)
1 min control select
2 min music select

(There are of course other remote controls that can be used, 'buttons'. However it is very handy to use the watch and minimize the number of gadgets).
