What's with the soft glass?

Had my 965 for just over 2 months and already there's scratch marks on the screen
Had my 945 for over a year and was perfect. Very disappointed.

yes! I thought Gorilla Glass would be much tougher. I bought a "tempered glass" screen protector, but it was flat, and didn't fit well with the curved edge of the "crystal" of the watch. (Is the screen shaped differently than the other latest Forerunners?) I've been looking for a better alternative. But still, at the price point for this watch, I would have thought it would have been tougher.

The 965 uses the same Gorilla Glass 3 DX as many other Forerunners (including 945). But as a new thing it does have a domed glass that raises a little above the bezel. That makes it a little bit more vulnerable, especially if you slide it face down across a table, for example.

I don't (yet) have a 965, but according to what I've read, many TPU screen protectors fit the curved glass ok.
