Lactate Threshold Test works fine but result is not saved

I just got my 965 (had an Instinct 2 before). I also use the HRM Pro. On the Instinct 2 I had a lactate threshold of 178bpm at 4:50 min/km. Today I tested the dedicated Lactate Threshold Test on the 965. The test worked fine and in the end it showed a new threshold of 180bpm at still 4:50 min/km. I accepted the new values and the watch seemed to save them.

I then checked on GCM, the activity was there all fine but the new threshold was not saved. I assume this is a bug. Firmware is 3.58.

All,

This disruption of accepted LTH values not syncing to Garmin Connect should be fixed in Public Beta Version 17.21.

If future LTH values are still not appearing in GC, please start a new thread.

Great to see Garmin looking into this. I hope it's safe to assume that Garmin is also working hard to fix the exact same issue with the 955 and the 255.

Same issue here, FR965, run the test twice yesterday. It worked well, accepted the new values and was saved on the watch. When syncing to GC, no value has been updated. I checked the GC Web report, there is no Running Lactate Threshold on the report. Firmware is 3.58.

Did someone try the test with the new firmware 4.19? Please share your results.

I have 4.19 on now. Can give it a shot tomorrow. Or maybe you're faster?

I was on 4.19 beta and lactate threshold updated on my watch without doing the test on the watch. However it didn’t update in garmin connect for sometime. Eventually it updated in garmin connect. So definitely a bug in garmin connect.

SF- Do you now see your LTH result in Garmin Connect, or did it never appear?

The same situation. FR965 firmware 4.19, no lactate threshold results in Garmin Connect from 17.05.2023.

Watch detects LT, asks for renewing it (gets confirmation from me), but nothing appears in Garmin Connect.

PS: In addition, when I try to see 4 week history webpage stucks so only closing the browser helps.

does this make any sense to y'all ?

my zones are also not updating after getting a LTHR notice
- only manual change of LTHR on the watch changes default hr zone
epic2 showed an updated zone inside the fit file after the LTHR notice, fr965 does not
both fr965 and epix2 were not using any sports hr zones, only using the default zone

The other heart rate page, the one I'm assuming you've been editing this whole time, is only applied to the sports that are not running, biking or swimming. It's not really intuitive how it's set up right now, I had at least a week trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.
