Sleep mode on FR 965 doesn't permit to activate battery saver mode automatically like epix of fenix can do? .

I'm not sure why health would be a factor here, but from a pure battery standpoint being to go into battery saver where you can set it to disconnect from the phone would make a big difference.

Bluetooth connection uses a measurable amount of battery. But I have no need to be connected when I'm unconscious for 8 hours each day! And battery life for AMOLED is a hot topic, for obvious reasons.

Garmin please add this!

Thank you Former Member, by health I meant to have a Bluetooth device in searching mode (if your phone is in airplane mode during night like mine) just around your head during 8 hours, not great about emissions.

I know it’s not a solution, but if you take the time to put your phone in airplane at night perhaps add a hotkey (or via control) to your watch to do it there as well?

Yes good idea waiting for the automation! It already put it manually but hot key can help a bit. Thank you for voting ;)

I agree. I find Garmin a very strange company.  It seems really odd that these watches share similar features but each line of watch does things slightly different.  

I only notice a small battery drain overnight but I’m always in the market for extra savings. 

Clearly, I think an harmonization is needed, at least a common os base with same basic functions/features like this one. 

Two words: product differentiation. Like how they only allow a max of 8 data fields on the 965 despite having a larger display, while the Epix gets 10 data fields.

I see the point, but 965 is also an expensive product. And I can understand for real features like cartography or maybe golf stuff etc, having differences between products, but we re talking about basic functions, in my opinion.

The lineup now is so similar now that they are resorting to such strategies to justify the even more expensive watches, by deliberating holding back easy to implement features not limited by hardware. But that is off putting for the current users and we should definitely push Garmin to include those features in an expensive watch like the 965.
