Sleep data missing

I've been wearing my 965 24/7 but this morning when I synced to my phone; it is missing 4 hours of data from 4am to 8am so no sleep, HR, pulse ox or HRV has been recorded. The data however, shows on my watch.  I've tried syncing via Garmin Express but no luck. Anyone else had this bug or know a way to get around it?

  • I looked and mine is OK

    Try soft reset the watch (hold in light button until watch fully powers down , then after say 20s restart it.

    Otherwise I would :

    Forget watch from BT settings

    Delete GC app from phone

    Soft reset watch

    Reinstall GC App on phone and sign in

    Re-Pair the watch.

    Maybe that "resets something"

  • Hmmm.. thats no good, was worth a try I guess! Do a chat with support , maybe they have some other suggestions or can at least investigate .

  • Yeah, there wasn't much luck there either. It was a case of wait and see tomorrow and if there was the same problem then, to get back to them. (in other words, they don't have a clue either!) 

  • I have seen the same on my 955. First in May 2023, the same day as you reported this! Then a few weeks later, and now from midnight last night until I got up this morning. I usually keep bluetooth on during the night, but the phone is offline, so I assume it does not sync then anyway. Tonight I had also bluetooth off. Also tried syncing the watch via WiFi, but the data is still missing on Connect web and in the app, even if it shows data for the entire night on the watch itself.

    The second time this happened, I somehow managed to get it synchronized, but I don't remember how! :-/

    It is frustrating not to have any option to force synchronization of data.

    after 16.17 update sleep data is missing….  Any ideas ? 

  • Same here after latest update... no sleep data or Body Battery refresh from midnight. Got a HRV score though... odd! Must be due to update? Will Garmin fix it??

    Edit.... No HRV in Connect and Training Readiness also only displaying "In Progress"

    Not looking good!!

  • +1 for me after the latest update. The last two nights are missing the first 3 or 4 hours of sleep data. 

    Everything else is there, just incorrect sleep data.
