Fitness age inaccurately suddenly raised due to alleged lack of vigorous days (which is incorrect)

Fitness age inaccurately suddenly raised today due to alleged lack of vigorous days (which is incorrect as I r un every day or other day). Any thoughts? What am I doing wrong?

  • Not sure how Garmin defines "vigorous" activity, but just running every day does not cut it in my opinion. Vigorous exercise is something like interval work or a race, running at or above your lactate threshold for a while.

  • I had a problem with vigorous days today.  My days went from 2.2/week to ZERO/week overnight.  That's not mathematically possible!  My fitness age went up 2 years overnight!

I spent one hours with on-line chat with a Garmin rep.  He was unable to help.  I later found a workaround to the bug:

I entered a new weigh-in, and my vigorous days went back to 2.2!  I later deleted the new weigh-in, and the vigorous days remained at 2.2.  Problem solved, but this is clearly a bug, as weight does not relate to days of activity.

  • Especially if you have some method to reproduce this, please report it as bug report in the garmin beta forum!

  • I am having this same problem. If I look at my average daily vigorous activity it shows that I am getting 55 mins per day. Has their been any updates on this bug? I have seen many other users comment about this bug

  • This fixed my problem.
