FR965 goes to Home Screen during swimming

I‘m adapting to my new RF965 after using a Felix 6x for 2 years.

When I’m swimming laps in the pool, the FR965 seems to randomly stop showing the swimming data screen (I have only 1 configured with just the data fields I need) and returns to the Home Screen.

Today this happened 5 tImes and each time when I noticed it (checking my lap count at the end of the pool) it took 4 or 5 presses of the top-right button to get the watch to respond and return to the activity screen.

This is frustrating. I’m pretty sure I’m not accidentally bumping buttons while I’m swimming, so this feels like a bug or a feature to me. Anyone experienced this?

Hi, I haven't tried it yet while swimming, but I've found strange behaviour during the shower. It seems the water touching the screen is causing some ghost touches randomly. anyone else can confirm?

I have the same issue. Just swimming yesterday and the watch was changing the current screen to different one. I have touch screen off for the swimming activities. Only buttons work.

This is a normal behavior. Disable touch before having a shower.

Never happened with my old 955 and in any case it's a bit annoying turning off touch before each shower honestly... Isn't it?

Normal behavior is that the swimming watch can’t deal with water?

As a workaround you could add a shortcut (press 2 buttons) to lock the screen. Then touch screen is off.

It's normal behavior that the touchscreen on the watch can't deal with water.

Thats why you usually turn it off before you get in contact with water (shower) or

set the activity to have it disabled by default (swim).

Same happened to me yesterday during a swim. I did a about 70 laps before that, with quite a few rest intervals in between... all was good and then all of the sudden I see "watch face" when I wanted to check my laps.

First I thought the watch crashed and I lost my swim data, but after pressing the "start/stop" button everything went back to normal, swim data was still there.

Must be a bug...
