Ghost touches

So far using the touch screen on my 965 is not the best experience.

Specially in morning report, screens shift up or down without me touching the screen. Also scrolling through the widgets is not a smooth experience.

(Maybe it’s not fair to compare it to an Applewatch. Apple has way more experience with touch design and implementation, and frankly, way better developers)

I had to disable the touch screen in running mode: the 965 changed the fields of the current screen (while running in wet conditions) without any action from me. I reported this to Garmin

Standard for any touch screen when rain falls on the screen. Happens in the shower too. Also the reason why the touch screen is automatically disabled for swimming.

If its wet, that’s normal. The touchscreen can’t handle water on it.

I also owned every major AppleWatch (currently the Ultra) and they’re having the same „Problems“ with water as the Garmin.

I’m not talking about a wet display. Just normal circumstances.

But there really is a problem. Without further questions, garmin support instantly offered to replace my watch. So it seems a quite familiar problem.
