Sometimes my display don't turn off?

I'm using AOD for activities, but not for daily use. But sometimes I can see the dimmed watch face without seconds etc, as if AOD as been activated...

I haven't yet figured out when and why this happens, but I have a feeling that it has something to do with entering an activity without starting it, then backing out, but I can't recreate it on purpose yet.

Anyone else that have seen this?

It’s buggy. I have a feeling it’s connected to the gesture setting and the back button. And if you’ve started an activity.

I’ve found a bug where, if you set the back button hotkey to watchface, and use that during an activity, it breaks the gesture recognition and AOD setting when you return to the activity. So if you have AOD off for activity, use the back hotkey to step out to the watchface/glances while running, then go back to the run, AOD is now permanently on. It forgets your setting. Similar weird things with how gestures are set and stop working.

I’m hoping they’ll fix this. Or at least make the behaviour more predictable and stable.

It just happened again... The last thing I did before I noticed was to add a couple of external sensors to the watch, my HRM Run and one of my bikes
