First Scratch - You don't see it, until you see it.

I moved from a long run of Fenix (from 3 up) and then to Epix. My first forerunner and a scratch on the glass within two weeks. Gutted, it's small but once you see it, you see it. I am not sure if the metal surround of the Fenix offered more protection or if the Forerunner glass isn't as good?

- Forerunner 965 - Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Hard to scratch, but not scratch proof.
- Fenix/epix Gen 2 - Sapphire Crystal on some models. More difficult to scratch than Gorilla Glass, but still not 100% scratch…

There doesn't seem to be a workable 965 screen protector. I am hoping I will begin to not see it in a few days. I had the Epix2 for a year, strangely the base model with the same glass and not a scratch…

A bit of a worry it says screen size 1.3 inches, not 1.4. Hopefully it’s not another 955 repackaging. Let us know how it goes! And especially if it curves with the screen properly.

Was this issue ever resolved ? I have a 965 in the mail and I'm thinking of returning it before I ever try and wear it.

Why would you want to return it?! There are plenty of screen protectors now. This conversation was from back when the watch first came out.

I have an IQ Shield and it works great. The watch is fantastic.

TPU works well for me. Looking for those TPU screen protector with half-cut back, so it's easier to peel half while adjusting the screen protector from the top edge then gently peel off the other half to complete it. Due to TPU is of thin film, to avoid wrinkle , gently use finger to push the air bubble from inner to outer edge , minor air bubble will be gone in few hours...

The nice thing about the IQ Shield is it goes on wet, which makes it easy to get rid of any bubbles, and you can easily position it. And it’s very hard to even see mine on the watch face.
