combine navigation with training program

Hi all,

I am about to travel to Italy and have scouted out a running route close to where we are staying and created a course for it. Is it possible to comine the navigation of the course with a Garmin Coach Training program? I've seen in another forum 735xt that this is possible, but can't figure out if this also woudl work with the 965 and if yes how to do it?

I would very much appreciate any help that I could get.

Even though I don't own a 965, I do have the 955 solar. But I assume so... I'm not 100% sure how the training coach program works, but I often follow the standard training plans for (half)marathons and if I have a session I can always start a course (using menu -> navigation -> course) which will simply continue the training while allowing you to follow the course.

Also other navigational options are then available... assume this won't be different with a training coach session.
