New watch, new to HRV

I don't have an HRV status yet as my watch requires more time although I can see my average results for the last week (during sleep each night) which is around 41ms. I understand this to be quite low. However, I did a health check first thing this morning when I woke up and the result was 127ms despite being low during the night. As it is new to me I am trying to understand HRV but at the moment I am just confused :)

Is it best to just wait the 3 weeks required then look at it again?
