Issue with always on display on activity

I don't konw what happened.

Just to add a data point to this. Earlier today out on my 6k run I manually paused at a light. When I restarted the gesture to brighten the screen no longer worked. Ug.

Just went outside into the backyard to test it again and now after pausing the gesture works fine.

Glitch in the matrix? Weird.

darrencroton, unfortunalty I meet one time again this issue during my activity (MTB) after about 1.5 hour.

After stop it and restart, all works properly and I don't understand what cause this issue.

I can't get mine to stay on, no matter what.

Done three night trail runs, and the screen goes off, have to tap the screen or do a gesture to show again..

When you say stay on , is it not legible at night on the base AOD level at all (before gesture?)

Garmin-Sierra, when you fix this, please set the AOD brightness adjustable or set higher. Also please make it possible to select _not to dim at all_.

In this form, there is not much sense of having AOD. On the Venu 2 plus, the AOD level is much higher (actually usable).

Screen goes black, yes it set to always on, and lowest brightness...
Tapping screen brings the screen back
