Golf: does Autoshot work on 965?

Autoshot used to work on the 955 but it has stopped working more about 9 months ago after a firmware update. It is however still advertised as a feature. Garmin fails to fix this issue.

According to the specs Autoshot should work on the 965, could someone confirm this? If it does, I’ll be ordering one straight away..

Without starting the golf activity, go to activity settings > golf > record activity.

Garmin has started to disable this by default for some reason. Apparently for people who drive a cart instead…

Just received my 965 and went out for a quick round of golf.
I can confirm: autoshot works !!

I’ve had a 945 and last year I upgraded to 955 Solar. The autoshot feature worked on both, but now it’s not working anymore on my 955 Solar?! Annoying. Anyone who knows if a new firmware will fix it? I have the latest as of today installed

Are you able to see your workout data after a round of golf ? Odometer starts automatically, but I can't seem to find the data in the app(s).
