Double-tap Map on 965 ?

That was an annoyance on my 955 before I sold it, has anyone seen a review where they show that you can now double tap the map to zoom in like on the Fenix/Epix ?

Yes, it works. I can't remember if I showed it in my review, but it does work just fine now. Also, they fixed the zoom lock levels, which retains the zoom level you set in the maps screen once you change…

Yes, it works. I can't remember if I showed it in my review, but it does work just fine now. Also, they fixed the zoom lock levels, which retains the zoom level you set in the maps screen once you change data pages. I think that was changed sometime last fall on the FR955.

The TSC is the "same" like Epix2 1x.xx branch of code. I think i read in your article that FR965 and Epix2 have the same system user interface (amoled like).

I can't get the double tap to zoom to work for me on any map in Map or Navigation, on stable fw

On a 955 maybe, but not on my 965. Well, not where it counts, during navigation.

If you manually set a zoom level and leave zoom, it zooms out in such a way you can almost view the complete course.

Yes, autozoom is on, and yes I reported it to garmin. Unfortunately I live in the Netherlands and garmin support aren’t the brightest of people.
