on 27.09 back again issues with HR datas.

Peaks of HR not related to pace and not in uphills.

See here yesterday run.

Abnormal Jumps of HR and big drops even with quicker pace. That is completyely wrong and give all wrong training effect assign, Vo2 Max wrong etc....

Adding to this thread - 965 product had the exact same problem 2-years ago. My replacement is now experiencing the same. I was active on this topic from here: RE: Heart Rate Bug - Part 2

Seems to be HR and Altimeter sensor issue. Altimeter is constantly off, producing inaccurate elevation readings, and needing constant collaboration. I am running 27.09 as well and have gone through much troubleshooting including cleaning the device and contacting support.

This HR issue is impacting my performance metrics and has been going on for over two months.

Sharing screenshot from my run on 1/26/26 - you can see there are problem with my max HR completely incorrect for an easy run.

I posted 2 activities in another thread and you never replied. Can I infer from this that I have a faulty watch and should get it replaced? I've done all the troubleshooting steps that you referred to.

Hi - I'm holding off on completing that order as not happy with spending $500 on a known issue. There's a full pause from me until more details are shared here given others are having similar issues.

Hello, the problem to me is more likely related to FW rather than HW so why we should BUY again a refurbished same model that will have probably same issue? needs a different HW as I wrote you by e-mail

The Issue is since 2 years... Old Firmeware 15.09 is much better....

as of today's run and also yesterday's run it seems HR values are getting back to normal. My understanding is that when Garmin release a new FW it reset the calculation of the HR as to me is not a straight on time reading we see for the HR but is adjust by different factors so the new value of HR after new FW implemented are wrong initially and than after days tent to go back to normal. I have experienced this in almost all FW releases. Please Garmin-Tracy Garmin-Kevin confirm
