As many users, my forerunner 955 was freezing when it was exposed to sun ( temperature is the root cause) but for an outdoor watch it's very tricky...
The after sale service has proposed a free exchange for a 955 solar this time but it's the same problem with this New watch (perhaps worst than the first ...) for a solar watch, not been exposed to direct sun to work is very strange....
As it's a know problem, why Garmin don't perform a use test in realistic temperature conditions to avoid to send defective watch to their customers...
I had a good opinion of Garmin, using gps and sport watches since more than 15 years but now, I couldn't recommand Garmin watches and it's sad...
