GPS will not get GPS signal after update to 25.04

My Forerunner 955 have updated this morning to 25.04, now it will not get GPS fix. A hard reset did not fix the problem.

In the System -> About screens, what version is GPS?

Something else to try. In the same hidden menu with the Reinstall option, select "Clear Ephemeris". Then use the Garmin Connect phone app to sync. That should download new GPS ephemeris tables.…

Turns out the issue disappeared by itself. I did all the suggested things without succes, and then decided to look at the issue again later. When i did, the GPS worked again no issue. I were i a place…

Try software reinstall. Settings About press light 8 times select reinstall

I figured it out, however this didnt help me with the GPS signal issue. Still no signal, even if the watch is trying for long time, over 20 minutes.

I were i a place where i normally don use GPS and where there is also some tall buildings nearby when i first had the problem, so maybe that was the issue. Thank you for all the suggestions.

Another possibility is that if your phone believes it's somewhere else than where you actually are, it might download the wrong Assisted GPS data for your current location. That will make your first GPS lock take a long time, especially if part of the sky is obscured (eg. urban canyon).
