Watch restarting

V 24.12 After the latest update I have noticed when saving an activity the watch will sometimes restart itself. After the restart the watch will prompt me to save activity again.

This will probably happen around 25% of the time.

Same here: watch restarting because of crash.

I had multiple crash reboot doing nothing in particular just interacting with the watch.

Garmin-Sierra this is a regression introduced with 24.12

Same, after last update, I've experienced crash and reboot after saving an activity. After that .fit file exists on watch but it is corrupted and doesn't sync.

Same here.

thankfully it dodn't happen during an activity but the watch restart up to a few times per day.

Dear all,

please consider it might be (related to/ in combination with) a hardware defect on your FR955.
I have recorded 34 activities with FW 24.12 (just counted it in Connect) and was wearing the watch 24/7 when not charging it and had zero crashes.

My suggestion would be to contact support.garmin.com and ask for help - because most probably it is not a *general* stability issue with 24.12, but has other factors to it, like hardware issues.
