Live Event Sharing + Walk Activity

Live Event Sharing is not available as an option for the Walk activity. Live Track is, but I would like the option for my partner to receive messages whilst I walk due to my health,and to know I have started and stopped an activity in the same way I can when I select Run.

You can use RUN activity as well, so you can use desired functionality and record activity.

Thanks, but the data screens and info I want on a walk are very different than that that I want from a run. I also don't want to go in to activities after the fact and start changing activity types.

You could copy the Run activity and rename it and have different data screens, I have multiple Run activities with various data screen setups. I dont use Live Event Sharing though , but one would think it would still work. That would at least address part one of this.
