Hello, I don't understand why my endurance score increases significantly when I do VMA and remains stable or even decreases during a fundamental endurance session. The name endurance score might be poorly chosen?

What is VMA?
And basically you can imagine the endurance score as a long-term load indicator - at least I see it like this. It is impacted by your training and hard or long sessions will give you more points than base or short sessions.
Of course you could debate if "endurance score" could be understood in a different way, but at least it is basically explained here:
https://www.garmin.com/en-US/garmin-technology/running-science/physiological-measurements/endurance-score/
What is missing is the algorithm in detail, but obviously it is kind of taking the load all of your activities from 2-3 months and adds it up - while it also seems that the newest will have more impact than older ones (kind of factor like 1.2x newer, 1x medium ones, 0,8x older ones).
Apparently if you are not doing LOTS of long runs or other really long workouts Garmin stats are pretty useless and do not reflect real-world endurance or performance. Basically Garmin ecosystem is a 1-trick pony and that trick is running and only running.
