Calendar Appointment Data Field on Watch face, change days ahead?

Coming from a Garmin 745 that didn't have app specific notifications so i just switched all notifications off on it. I started to use the Calendar Data field on the watch face to give me an idea for events i have coming up, and then i could just check the at a glace / widget on my watch or my calendar on my phone for details on it if i couldn't remember.

The 745 seems to have "looked ahead" so to speak about 3 days which was actually a kinda sweet spot for me as it wasn't on the screen long enough for my mind to get use to it and start "ignoring" it, it was changing often enough that if i looked at my watched it drew my attention. Either from the Little logo with -- next to it for nothing or a time or between times.

The 955 seems to be looking head about 7 days, now it's not bad but to have the same 0700 "reminder" on the screen from Sunday for Next Sunday by Wednesday i start ignoring it.

Is there a way to adjust the time to 3 days on 955? Otherwise i'm just going to stop using it and just set a reminder on all events for 3/2/1days before so a notification pops up at said day.

    Hello,

    The calendar widget/data field should be showing the current day or the day after if you don't have anything for today as an example. 

    Events and Other Items Not Showing in My Garmin Calendar Widget or Watch Face

    There is not a way to change it for how many days it can show out, we input the day or or day after in our algorithm.

    Thank for the reply but either i'm misunderstanding or the data field isn't working that way on my watch picture below is my actual watch currently.



    Left is the watch face showing 0700, that 0700 has been there since Sunday, and i have no events as you can see from the "Glances" (what it's call in the connect app) in the menu.

    The only item i have for 0700 is Sunday. I have a reminder for the birthday but it's set for 0900 not 0700.

    So idk. On the 745 i currently shows -- next to the calendar but by Friday it would show 0700.

    Hope this helps clear up if i didn't explain correctly.

    It will not show the all-day ones even if you have reminders for them. The reminders will come through as a smart notification if you have that app turned on for your watch to receive them. The data field on the watch face will give you the next up-coming appointment/meeting or whatever it may be with a specific time for it. 

    The data field showing you 7am matches with the next set time appointment/meeting/etc at 7am on Saturday. If you set a appointment for Thursday of this at 9am, that one would be priority and show on your data field calendar on your watch face as 9am.

    I have no issue with it not showing the All day Event and i prefer it that way.

    In short there is no where to change the "duration it shows ahead" to 3days like the 745 and showing me 1 week a head kinda nulls the function as my brain gets use to it and ignores it after about 3 days.

    I'll give it a bit more time and see how it works during times i have more things going on Or I'll find another data field for that spot and just make sure i always add a extra reminder for 2 to 3 days before the "event" on calendar entries so it comes through as a notification. It's kinda a shame as this was a really unobtrusive way to remind myself of times i needed to be at places.
